My book, “Lasting Happiness” has been out for a number of weeks now, and the feedback is beginning to come in – very encouraging!
But to get the message out more, I’ve arranged a book launch event in a few weeks with my publisher, Darton, Longman and Todd.
In fact the event is a partnership between them and the charity that I work with, Livability.
It’s a privilege to have people I admire in on the act.
The event is called “Building Connection: Moving Beyond Isolation & Loneliness in our Communities.”
As well as giving you an opportunity to hear me talking about the book, we will highlight some of the challenges we all face in our society – isolation and loneliness.
The UK has been called the “Loneliness Capital of Europe” and one disturbing finding is that loneliness is increasing most amongst young people.
So if you’re able to come, I’d love to see you there.
