Long time no chat
It’s been quite a while since you
from me, so I thought it was high time I posted an update on how things are developing.
We’re living through an extraordinary time at the moment. The Covid-19 pandemic has changed all our lives, perhaps forever. It has had a radical impact on our working patterns, with all of us having to move online.
That’s been a mixed blessing, but it has certainly forced me to think through how I operate my work.
Lasting Happiness course
I have therefore recently developed a six-session course via Zoom, called Lasting Happiness (the name of the book I published a couple of years ago) and have trialled it a number of times. Although it is still a work in progress, it seems to have been well received, and participation and responses have been very encouraging. It’s also been great to connect with people all over the world.
I will therefore run it again in September, and this letter is your invitation to be involved! The great thing about Zoom is of course that anyone can participate, wherever they live (two of the pilot courses have been based out of Japan!).
I plan to make The Happiness Course available online as well, so watch this space for more news.
One frustration, as ever, has been not having enough time to give to discussion. That’s why I started a Facebook group up, as a forum to keep the conversation going.
A key moment
It feels like we’re all at a key moment – not just for ourselves and people we know, but for our whole society. Lots of people are reflecting and asking questions about their lives, so it’s a great opportunity to engage with that, and walk with people on anxious and uncertain journeys. So please partner with me for the next stages…
Please contact me and let me know your thoughts.
